1. Scope of Service

Mawuli Photography provides specialized studio portraiture for birthdays, maternity, family, corporate, and graduation milestones. We do not provide coverage for weddings or outdoor events.

2. Payment Terms

We operate on a "payment-after-service" model. Settlement must be made immediately following the shoot via Mobile Money (MoMo) only. Cash is not accepted to ensure financial transparency.

3. Selection Workflow vs. RAW Files

  • Selection Proofs: After your session, the Studio will send you a digital link containing unedited proofs (usually in JPEG format) for the sole purpose of selecting your favorites for editing. These files are for selection only and do not constitute a final product.

  • RAW Files: The Studio does not provide RAW files (the unprocessed sensor data, e.g.,.CR3 or.NEF) under any circumstances. RAW files are considered the Studio's proprietary "digital negatives" and represent an unfinished work of art.

4. Intellectual Property and Usage

  • Copyright: Per the Copyright Act, 2005 (Act 690), Mawuli Photography retains exclusive ownership of the copyright for all images created.

  • Client License: Upon full payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license for personal use. This includes printing for your home and sharing on personal social media.

  • Prohibitions: You may not sell these images or use them for commercial branding without a separate commercial license. Applying additional filters or edits to our finished work is prohibited as it violates the Photographer's moral rights to the integrity of the work.

5. Delivery and Post-Production

  • Standard Delivery: Retouched photos are delivered within three (3) working days after you finalize your selection.

  • Express Delivery: Same-day and next-day options are available for an additional fee.

6. Liability

The Studio is not liable for the loss of digital files after our six-month archival period. Our total liability for equipment failure or data loss is limited to a full refund of the session fee.
